Colombo Veterans Football Club off to Mauritius

The Colombo Veterans Football Club this week left to Mauritius to participate in the VIII International Masters Football Festival 2012.

This tournament is held for the seventh year consecutively.

The six participating Clubs are from Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and host Mauritius. Colombo Veterans F.C (Sri Lanka) is the reigning champion for the year 2011 held in India.

Colombo Veterans (Sri Lanka) is the only club to have under their belt 2times champions, a joint champion, and runners-up within the short period of this tournament.  The team consists most of the past National Players of Sri Lanka.
