Commercial Credit and Finance PLC won the Governor’s Trophy at the CRIB Six-a-Side Softball Cricket Tournament held at the NCC Grounds, Colombo 07 recently.
Remaining unbeaten from the very beginning of the tournament, Commercial Credit proved its true mettle with dedication and commitment in an event where a record number of 68 teams from Sri Lanka’s finance industry, banks and non-banking institutions, fought for this prestigious trophy.
Captain Anura Dias walked away with the awards for ‘Best Batsman’ and ‘Man of the Final’ while team member Ranga Cooray grabbed the ‘Man of the Tournament’ award. Commercial Credit’s team comprises Anura Dias (Captain), Shammika Ruwan, Ranga Cooray, Kavinda Silva, Chaminda Vidanapathirana, Imesh Udayanga, Kusal Chamin, Praneeth Wijesena and Hashan Perera.
