Victoria Beckham and her husband David have taken to Facebook and Twitter to release the first photos of their new baby girl, Harper Seven.
In a touching move, the Beckhams took to social media over the weekend to debut two intimate photos of their new daughter, baby Harper Seven.
Soccer super star David Beckham took to Facebook on Sunday to post a picture of his wife Victoria getting some rest with their new baby, Harper Seven.
"I took this picture of my two girls sleeping," he posted on the social networking site.
That same day, Victoria, 37, took to Twitter to release a picture of David, 36, in a tender moment with their newborn.
In the black-and-white happy snap, David is cradling Harper Seven and gently touching noses with her. Victoria tweeted, "Daddy's little girl" alongside the photo.
Harper Seven was born on July 10 at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. The celebrity power couple already have three sons: Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6.
Just days after the birth, Posh Spice tweeted that "baby Harper is the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen. I have fallen in love all over again!"
"We feel so blessed," she added. "And the boys love their baby sister so much."
Harper's unique name was explained by David in a video last week.
Harper is for Harper Lee, author of To Kill A Mockingbird, David explained.
"Victoria's favourite book is To Kill A Mockingbird, it's a very strong, passionate book and the author was Harper Lee, and that is where Harper came from."
Seven has two explanations. One is that it's the number Becks has worn throughout his soccer career, and has proved a lucky number for the star.
"The main reason behind Seven was it symbolises spiritual perfection – the seven wonders of the world, the seven colours of the rainbow – and in many cultures it is a lucky number.
