Dehiwela Ahadiyyah awarded champions

A 6 a side cricket tournament was organised by the Colombo District Ahadiyyah Schools Federation and was held at the Vijaya Kumarathunga Playgrounds, Colombo recently.

Fourteen Ahadiyyah Schools of the Colombo District, participated at this tournament.

Al Hikma Ahadiyyah School, Al Hidaya Ahadiyyah School, Colombo Ahadiyyah School , KIEC Ahadiyyah School, Dehiwela Ahadiyyah School, Battaramulla Ahadiyyah School, Maharagama Ahadiyyah School,  Dsrus Shafi Ahadiyyah School Dehiwela, Minnan Ahadiyyah School Dematoagoda , Mattakuliya Ahadiyya School, YMMA Mutwal Ahadiyyah School, YMMA Hulfsdrof Ahadiyyah School, Qadiriya Ahadiyyah School and Zaras Garden Ahadiyyah School Wellampitiya.

The President of the federation M.R.M. Zarook awarded the Captain of the winning team Amzal Subhany of Ahadiyyah School Dehiwela at the tournament.

Present at the tournament were the all Ceylon Ahadiyyah School federation Secretary S.M. Shazuli, and the principals and students of the schools.  

Battaramulla Ahadhiyyah School was awarded as runner up, while Abdul Malik from Minnan Ahadhiyyah School was the Best Batsman of the tournament, M. Nazvi Imtiyas from Minnan Ahadhiyyah School grabbed the award for the Best Bowler and the Man of the match was awarded to M. Amjad from Dehiwala Ahadhiyyah School.
