Dhanaranjana wins Victoria Junior Golf Championship

By Shamseer Jaleel Over 50 kids participated at the Junior Victoria Golf and Country Club Championship which took place last Sunday at the beautiful golf course in Rajawella in front of an appreciative crowd. G. Dhanaranjana (80 gross) won the Vicotria Golf Junior Championship (overall gross winner) at this event. The beginner’s Under-10 event was won by Dahnushan (38 gross). Vikash (41 gross) secured second place with Haroon Aslam (44 gross) taking the 2nd runner-up position. The Class B (11-14 years) event was bagged by Vinod Weerasinghe (86 gross). Sathsara Dilshan (88 Gross) was the runner-up with Dilip (93 gross) securing the 2nd runner-up position. Meanwhile, the Class A event (15-17 years) was won by Lamindu Rainika (81 gross) with Flemin (82 gross) securing second place. Isira Fernando (82 CB Gross) walked away with the 2nd runner-up position.
