Sri Lanka’s eight top clubs will battle it out for the Dialog Rugby League, the premier rugby tournament on the country’s rugby league calendar, when action kicks off with Navy scrumming down against Police at Police Park on 4 November, from 4.00 p.m. onwards.

This season these eight teams will battle it out for the Dialog Rugby League ‘A’ Division crown and the following Dialog Clifford Cup knockout tournament.

The teams that will do battle in the Dialog Rugby League include last year’s League and Clifford Cup champs Kandy, CR&FC, CH&FC, Havelock, Police, Army, Navy and Air Force.

This is Dialog’s fifth uninterrupted year of sponsorship of the League and Clifford Cup competitions which have a huge following among both the young and old in Sri Lanka. In the 2015/16 season, Kandy put on a scintillating display of skills to power their way to the championship ahead of a spirited Havelock.

Dialog is closely associated with the development of cricket, rugby, football, volleyball and disabled sports, and has sponsored national contingents to international events including the Paralympics.
