Dilan De Silva Seneviratne joins EZY Racing line up

Dilan Seneviratne is the latest driver to join EZY Racing, Sri Lanka’s foremost motor racing team. With the inclusion of Dilan, the supreme EZY Racing team will now have five drivers in its line-up for 2013. Dilan will be driving a Mitsubishi Evolution for SL-GT up to 3500 CC as well as a Honda for SL-H 1600CC for the forthcoming Colombo Night Race 2012 in the EZY Racing team.

Dilan brings with him six years of extensive experience in motor racing with 23 wins and 49 podiums in total to his credit. In his short career, Dilan has received many accolades to his name. Last year Dilan was honoured at the famous Hill Climbs, being awarded the National Championship for SL-H 1600. The same year also witnessed him finishing first at the inaugural Colombo Night Races, under the category of SL-H 160, competing against renowned Sri Lankan racers. For three consecutive years from 2009, Dilan registered victories at the prestigious Mahagasthota Hill Climb driving a Formula Ford.

Behind the wheels of a modest 1500cc standard Honda Civic, against a 1600cc modified Honda SIR’s, Dilan emerged victorious at the Fox Hill Super Cross 2006. He also had the opportunity of representing Sri Lanka at the Formula LGB 2006 in India, competing with top Indian drivers. The Kotmale Hill Climb 2005, witnessed history being made when Dilan drove a Honda Civic in the 8-10kg/hp class; this record still stands unbeaten.
