Race driver Dilan Seneviratne was presented with the National Championship award for the SL-H 1600 Hill Climbs 2011 by Minster of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage. The presentation was made at the Sri Lanka Auto Sports Awards held recently.
The award wasn’t a surprise for the racing fraternity as Seneviratne has enjoyed a superb 2011, particularly on hill climbs where he enjoys a flawless record over the past few years. Among his achievements include winning the Formula Ford event for three consecutive years since 2009.
His win in the SL-H event in 2011 was also significant as it saw him driving his pet Honda Civic SiR.

In this context, Seneviratne’s success earmarks as one driver to watch out for in 2012.
