Dilrukshi and Akalanka win all island school games award

Dilrukshi Perera (Hillwood College, Kandy) and Akalanka Pieris (St. Peter’s College Colombo 4) won the Best Swimmer awards in the Girls category and Boys category at the All Island School Games.

Both Dilrukshi Perera of Hillwood College and Akalanka Pieris of St Peter’s won the best swimmers at the all island school games recently. 

These two youngsters also represented the country at the World Junior Swimming Championships 2015 in Singapore at the Asian Age Group Swimming Championships 2015 in Thailand early this month. 

Dilruskhi also one of the finest products from Hillwood represented her Alma-mater in Athletics and Netball (2014 and 2015). She was the only Athlete from the Central Province who qualified to represent the Province at the National Level in all three disciplines (swimming, athletics and netball).
