Red Bull athlete and Sri Lankan National Cricketer Dinesh Chandimal is Event Ambassador for Red Bull Kart Fight. Coming from having just won the Ceat Emerging Cricketer for 2011/2012, Dinesh expressed his excitement at being involved in the first-ever Red Bull Kart Fight.

Speaking on the event he said: “I have always been a fan of karting, no other form of racing combines skill, strength and strategy quite like it.” Dinesh just returned from Jaffna after being a part of the first ever Murali Harmony cup.

The registrations for Red Bull Kart Fight have now officially closed with all 150 slots filled within record time. Kart Fight hopefuls still stand a chance on each qualifier day. All races begin at 12 noon and if any registered participant does not show up on time his/her place will be taken by a waitlisted participant.

The venue for the qualifiers and finals has now been changed to Greenpath from the original plan of Independence Square due to unavoidable circumstances.
