DSI Avi sponsors two promising Sri Lanka U19 crickets

D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd., ‘Avi’ Sports Equipment has come forward to sponsor a very promising Sri Lanka Cricket U-19 player, Tharindu Kaushal from Deva Pathiraja College, Rathgama.

The one year Avi sponsorship became a reality through the untiring effort of Basil Perera, who had highly recommended Tharindu Kaushal and succeeded in persuading DSI to support his cricket career.

Basil Perera, as SLC Tour Manager had observed the lad’s immense cricketing talent at the recently concluded U-19 quadrangular held in India, where Sri Lanka participated along side India, Australia and the West Indies.

The sponsorship was handed over at a simple ceremony held yesterday at the DSI showroom, Maitland Crescent, Colombo 7
