Early start for Bradby at Pallekele

The first leg of the 73rd Bradby Shield will kick off at 4:15 p.m. today. The time was brought forward by 15 minutes due to the unpredictable climate in the hills in the last couple of days. Trinity will be led by Nathan Yee while the Royal outfit will be led by Ovin Askey. 

Trinity has some class acts in its starting line-up such as Aveesha Priyankara, Shaveen Ekanayake, Anuka Boyagoda, Lashan Wijesuriya, Warren Weerakoon and the Bandaranayake brothers. 

The Royal outfit boasts Hamza Reza, Nikhil George, Shabith Feroze and Janidu Dilshan in their line-up for this important encounter which will be played for the Singer League 2017 decider as well. 

Former Trinity cricket, rugby football and badminton skipper Tikiri Ellepola will be the Chief Guest.
