Elephant House sponsors 79th ‘Battle of the Saints’

Coming in as sponsors of soft drinks, ice cream and food, Elephant House recently signed up in support of the 79th annual battle between St. Joseph’s College and St. Peter’s College ‘Battle of the Saints’ cricket encounter.

Cricket enthusiasts from both these schools will once again have the chance to enjoy the Sri Lanka’s most popular brands of ice creams and soft drinks, including KIK cola, in addition to an array of Keells food products.

The cricket match kicks off the season of ‘big matches’ this year. Taking place on 1 and 2 March 2013, at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium, this much anticipated encounter is expected to draw thousands of spectators as in years past.

Additionally, both past and present pupils from both schools are expected to gather in the name of cricket, to enjoy two days of exuberant sporting achievement.
