England cricket team receives warm welcome at Taj Samudra

After an epic match against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi, the victorious English cricketers arrived in Sri Lanka last weekend.

Taj Samudra – the official hotel for England’s tour of Sri Lanka – will host the team during their stay in Colombo. The English cricket team, currently ranked number one in Test cricket, will play two Test matches against the Sri Lanka during this tour.

The Sri Lankan cricket team, currently in Bangladesh preparing for the Asia cup is expected at the Taj Samudra during the last week of March. Till such time the English cricketers will engage in routine practice sessions while preparing for the first game in Galle on 26 March 2012.
