First SAARC U-25 T20 cricket in Maldives

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled a 14-member Nepali U-25 cricket squad for the first SAARC U-25 Twenty20 Cricket Tournament to be held in the Maldives from 31 October to 7 November.



The National Selection Committee of CAN under the coordination of Bijay Kumar Sharma selected the players under the captainship of Paras Khadka and vice-captain Gyanendra Malla.

The other team members include - Mahesh Chhetri, Anil Mandal, Sharad Vesawkar, Amrit Bhattarai, Rahul BK, Pradeep Airee, Prithu Baskota, Naresh Budhayer, Krishna Karki, Bhuwan Karki, Abhinash Karn and Binod Bhandari.

The players were selected from the close camp being held to prepare for the ACC Twenty20 Cup in Kathmandu according to CAN. - nepalnews.com
