Fully Loaded Exide all geared up to power Gunner Supercross 2017

Sri Lanka’s leading automotive battery brand, Fully Loaded Exide, will be the Official Battery Partner of this year’s Gunner Supercross motor racing event, which is due to be held on 6 August. 

Excide has been partnering the event for eight consecutive years. 

Sri Lanka’s premier annual racing event, the Gunner Supercross, is organised by the Regiment of Artillery in partnership with the Sri Lanka Auto-Sports Drivers’ Association (SLADA) and this year will be its 12th edition.

Last year’s race witnessed leading racers of the country showcasing their skills at the Minneriya racetrack, which is located at the Artillery Complex in Minneriya. The event drew in over 120 competitors and about 20,000 spectators. This year too the organisers expect overwhelming attendance and enthusiasm at the event.

At a press conference, held recently, Battery Division – Brown and Company Plc Deputy General Manager Ajith De Silva handed over the sponsorship cheque for the Official Battery Partner to Sri Lanka Artillery Colonel Commandant Major General Priyantha Jayasundara.
