Gaveshini recognised as most outstanding sportsperson

Gaveshini Abeygunawardena (14) was the proud recipient of the most outstanding sports person for the year 2012, at the Methodist College prize giving held at the College Auditorium on recently.

Apart from receiving U15 Singles and Doubles championships for Tennis and Badminton, she was also a member of the school Netball and Basketball teams that emerged as champions.

She is currently a representavie of her school in Tennis and Basketball and a regular, at Swimming, Netball, Basketball and Tennis.
