The Gunner Supercross, organised by the Artillery Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army for the ninth occasion, was held at the Minneriya Army tracks. A large number of spectators watched the series, which consisted of 20 motorcycle and car racing events. Aravinda Premadasa won both of his events in the GT-Super Car championships to emerge as the best driver at Gunner’s Supercross, while young motorcyclist Shehan C. Adhikari won 1st and 2nd places in his events to emerge as the best rider of the day
