Once the finalists were selected, they raced in a custom-build F1 simulator to record the best timings on a racetrack identical to the one used at the Singapore Grand Prix. The initiative was launched by Hemas Travels in order to promote racing amongst locals. The response the competition received was very encouraging and as a result, future consumer promotions are also in the offing. Hemas Travels is the official travel partner for the F1 Singapore Grand Prix. Hemas Travels is a subsidiary of Hemas Holdings Plc, with interests in FMCG, healthcare, leisure, power, transportation and the BPO sectors.
