HNB advances to Women’s “A” Div. Basketball semifinal

HNB advanced to the Women’s “A” Division semifinals of the 11th MSBA – Ram Ratnavale Memorial Challenge Trophy, knockout basketball tournament, now in progress at the Henry Pedris Sports Complex.

In the semifinals, HNB scored a hard fought 43-38 win over Nations Trust Bank, after leading 18-16 at half time.

The match winners for HNB were, K. Silva (17), A. Ekanayake (13) and U. de Silva 13; W. Dhanajali (13),  N. Paiva (08) and K. Mahawatte played a fighting game for NTB.
