Polish club Warta Poznan have named ex-Playboy model Izabela Lukomska-Pyzalska as new chairman.

Lukomska-Pyzalska has vowed to save the club from relegation when the season resumes in March after the winter break.

The 33-year-old ex-cover girl also insists she will tighten up finances and has no fears of making a mark in the male-dominated football world.

Lukomska-Pyzalska is not concerned by what men think of her as she has already made a mark in real state and construction along with her husband.  “This isn’t a problem for me. It’s my meat and drink,” she said. “Real estate and construction - that’s hardly a woman’s world either. I worked as a model a good few years ago.

“I’ve been in construction and property development for five years. In those five years, we’ve become one of Poznan’s leading developers. I think I can achieve the same in football.”

Izabela in 2001 was named the Playboy Playmate of the Year. She would also go on to appear in other magazines that year and eventually earn a lead role on the the Polish soap opera “What Are Men Afraid of?”

Izabela Lukomska-Pyzalska admits she modeled for several years. From Playboy, she moved in construction. Lukomska-Pyzalska tells that her job as Warta Poznan’s club chair is no different that working in male-dominated construction industry.
