HSBC Premier Golf Tournament to tee off today in Nuwara Eliya

The annual HSBC Premier Golf Tournament will tee off at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club today (10 September) at 7:30 a.m.

This tournament is taking place for the fourth year in tandem; as customary a pre-event challenge where golfers had the exciting task of facing ‘The Ultimate Bunker Challenge’ played under lights took place yesterday in the evening.

Today’s tournament is expected to rally 100 golfers teeing off for the HSBC Premier Challenge Trophy and a chance to witness the HSBC WGC Champions Golf Tournament, scheduled to take place in Shanghai, China from 25 to 31 October. 

The tournament will be followed by an awards ceremony held in the evening today.
