HSBC win Mercantile Tennis Tournament in impressive style

HSBC became the unbeaten champions once again at the annual Mercantile Tennis Tournament 2011, held recently. The tournament which is held annually for the commercial sector saw over 15 companies competing this year. HSBC emerged winners for the sixth consecutive year with the highest score of 132 points, against close competitors Dialog with 64 points and Amana with 37 points. 

Captaining the HSBC team was Sivadharshan Sivaganeshan, alongside dashing players Aasiri Iddamalgoda and Thiyumi Abeysinghe who displayed remarkable sportsmanship.

Awards were later handed out to all participants at an awards ceremony, held at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association.
