Ian Rush soccer clinic begins in Mumbai

The three-day soccer clinic, conducted under the supervision of the legendary Wales and Liverpool football player Ian Rush for the underprivileged school kids, began at the Western Railway Grounds in Mumbai, India on Friday, November 11.

There are forty kids at the age of 8 to 15 have been chosen for this training programme from about 2,200 school children of the not-so-rich Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, the civic body that governs the city of Mumbai, the capital city of the state of Maharashtra. The initiative is named ‘Go Forward’ which is run by the Standard Chartered Bank.
