India will play One Day Internationals at Hambantota, Dambulla, Pallekele and Premadasa Stadium when they arrive here in July to play five ODIS and a Twenty20.
Hambantota will host the first two ODIS while Premadasa Stadium in Colombo will host the only T20 International. According to the International Cricket Council’s Future Tours Programme India were to play three Test matches which were later changed into an ODI tour after Sri Lanka Cricket officials convinced the Board of Control for Cricket in India during a recent visit as ODIS are likely to be a financially better arrangement.
Before the India tour Sri Lanka will have Pakistan visiting here for a full series featuring three Tests, 5 ODIS and three T20 Internationals.
The Test matches will be played at Galle, SSC and Premadasa Stadium while two ODIS will be played at Pallekele and three ODIS will be played at Premadasa Stadium.
Sri Lanka will also host Pakistan’s home series of five T20 internationals against Australia in Sri Lanka prior to the T20 World Cup which is also to be hosted by Sri Lanka. New Zealand will also visit Sri Lanka later this year to play Two Tests, five ODIS and two T20 s.
