India scents win after Bhuvneshwar spell

India will start day five of the third Test with an opportunity to not just wrap up the match but the series as well.

Australia ended day four of the Test at Mohali on Sunday, still 16 runs behind India, with seven seven wickets in hand. India was earlier bowled out for 499, a lead of 91.

India’s openers Murali vijay and Shikhar Dhawan slammed hundreds, before Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 67. Peter Siddle was the best Australia bowler picking five for 71.

The star performer for India with the ball was new ball bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar who picked all three Australia wickets as the visitors ended the day at 75 for three.

Chief Scores: Australia 408 and 75 for 3 (Bhuvneshwar 3-25) trail India 499 (Dhawan 187, Vijay 153, Kohli 67*, Siddle 5-71) by 16 runs
