Jack Wilson:

Making his debut for the All Blacks this season at the Hong Kong Rugby 7’s, Jack has been identified as one the fastest rising stars in 7’s rugby. Son of former All Black Brett Wilson, Jack plays his domestic rugby for Bay of Plenty, where he returned to after a stint in Canterbury.  He played sevens for the Bay at the Nationals in Queenstown. In addition to the outstanding performance during the Hong Kong Seven’s Jack has also featured for the All Blacks at the IRB Sevens Series games in Japan and London.

Bryce Heem:

Bryce Heem was part of the Auckland team that took top honorsPub Charity National Sevens and has been a regular part of the national 7’s setup over the last few years, playing in 13 world series tournaments including winning a world title. Bryce was named as ‘one to watch’ in 2011 by AttheSevens.com. Withhis height, in sevens, he plays in the forwards but with his speed he can finish half breaks from anywhere.

Johnathan Malo-Fuiavailiili:

Johnathan got his international call up for the All Black’s 7’s team at the recently held IRB Rugby 7’s tournament in Las Vegas. Malo is a 21 year old scrum half from Waikato where has been playing his rugby for the provincial team since 2009.

Mark Jackman:

Mark has already proved himself a winner featuring the team that won the IRB series tournament in Wellington. He also featured for the team at the Las Vegas tournament and made a significant contribution to the team’s performance. Jackman has also impressed domestically leading Canterbury and making the final of the BOP Invitational and then reaching semi-finals of the Nationals in Queenstown.

Coach: Charles Baxter

Charles Baxter is a former player of the New Zealand sevens team with 5 years as a player with the New Zealand team.

He is now the sevens coach for the Bay Of Plenty. In addition, Charles is also a talent identification / selector for the New Zealand Rugby Union for the New Zealand schools and the coach for the New Zealand under 17’s team.
