(Reuters) - A brilliant diving catch by Tamim Iqbal and a four-wicket blast by paceman Shafiul Islam helped Bangladesh to a pulsating 27-run win over Ireland in their World Cup Group B match on Friday.

Chasing 206 for victory, Ireland looked like they were on course to break Bangladeshi hearts as they were coasting on 151 for five but a brilliant diving catch by Iqbal got rid of danger man Niall O'Brien (38) to turn the match on its head.

From then on Ireland lost regular wickets and Shafiul mopped up the rest of the tailenders to hand Bangladesh their first win at this World Cup.Bangladesh was hammered by India in their opening match.
