Island wide signature collection campaign launched for People’s Bank sponsored 8th Asian Netball Tou

Committed to develop Sri Lankan Netball as the official sponsor for 2012 / 2013, People’s Bank is proud to be the main sponsor of the 8th Asian Netball Championship Tournament which is scheduled to be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium from 25 to 31 August.

The brand ‘Vanitha Vasana’, the most popular women’s account of People’s Bank will be represented as the main sponsor throughout the tournament.

The signature collecting promotional campaign of the Asian Netball Tournament was initiated recently under the patronage of the Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage, at the Independence Square. The official logo and website were also launched at this occasion. The island wide tour was inaugurated at the Head Office of People’s Bank.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by People’s Bank CEO/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar together with corporate and executive management and the staff of People’s Bank. Officials of Sri Lanka Netball Federation, Sri Lanka Netball Team, People’s Bank Sports Club and People’s Bank Netball Team also attended the ceremony.
