Jayawardena fastest at Mahagastotte Hill Climb

Mobil Racing’s Dinesh Jayawardena highlighted his presence yet again during the prestigious Mahagastotte Festival of Speed by becoming the fastest driver of the day. 

One of the most prestigious events in the Sri Lankan racing calendar, the 83rd Mahagastotte Hill Climb, conducted by the Ceylon Motor Sports Club, took place at the Nuwara Eliya Estate, where a star cast of drivers and riders engaged in a race against the clock. Jayawardena, competing in the SL-GT cars up to 3500cc event, finished the uphill drive in just 33.657 seconds in his second run to win the event ahead of Darin Weerasingha and Shafraz Junaid. With this victory, the Mobil Brand Ambassador, Jayawardana has completed an amazing run in both of the historical hill climb events in the country, following his record setting performance at the Eliyakanda Hill Climb, a few weeks earlier.
