The seventh annual Josephian Golf tournament will be played at the Royal Colombo Golf Club on 23 March 2014.
The tournament is played for the Nihal de Silva Challenge trophy with about 40 competitors participating. A keen tussle can be expected with a few overseas players too being in the fray.
The principal sponsor for this year’s tournament is Colonial Motors PLC, the agents for Mazda vehicles in Sri Lanka.
A keen contest is expected as in addition to the main Nihal de Silva challenge trophy, many other trophies and prizes will be on offer and the golfing skills of the Josephians will undoubtedly be tested to the hilt.
The awards ceremony, fellowship and dinner will follow in the evening at the RCGC.
