Kandy Sports Club will be out for their fourth 50 plus score when they confront the Solders at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium tomorrow. Kandy are playing their fourth game this season and third home game, and are favoured to pull it off without much difficulty. They got the better of CH & FC, Air Force and the Police SC already with the last game being played away in Colombo - a special one as the Cops contained some big names in their outfit.

Kandy will be playing their full team for this encounter where the Solders too are an improved outfit coming all out to create an upset. Army SC too beat Navy SC, Air Force and lost their first game to the Red Shirts. Kandy will be led by Fazil Marija with some outstanding three quarter line in the calibre of players like Richard Dharmapala, Gayan Weerarante, Nigel Ratwatte, Arshard Jamaldeen and Lavanga Perera - all at their peak, and coupled with their local and International experience, they will be a difficult lot to stop. Arshard Jamaldeen too is getting closer to his best in kicking abilities putting over some beautiful corner flag kicks which is a bonus for the Up Country side coached by former Sri Lankan flanker Sean Wijesinghe who has done a grand job with the players in his very first season in the coaching job with former Sri Lanka player Saliya Kumara assisting the line.

Army SC will be expecting a lot from their skipper Jayalal and Gayan Salinda to deliver the goods. This encounter will be controlled by referee Priyantha Gunaratne.
