Defending league and Clifford cup champions Kandy Sports Club will be firm favourites to notch their second win in tandem when they lock horns with Sri Lanka Air Force at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium tomorrow.

The kick-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.Outside-lead-2-Fazil-Marija-to-lead-the-champion-outfit

The home team led by Fazil Marija has an outstanding back division with players of the calibre of Richard Dharmapala, Gayan Weeraratne, Lavanga Perera, Nigel Ratwatte and Arshard Jamaldeen along with their skipper Fazil Marija, almost all hitting the peak in their very first outing. Both Richard Dharmapala and Shehan Pathirana missed out on the opening match due to an injury.

Kandy SC forwards too showed some improved performances with prop Kishore Jehan, Damith Dissanayake and Sayuru Anthony being outstanding. The Kandy outfit is coached by former Sri Lanka skipper Sean Wijesinghe with Saliya Kumara and Nalaka Weerakody assisting them.

Meanwhile the airmen who met with a defeat at the hands of the sailors will be finding it tough to not have any chance of a win and containing the league champions will be their only option.
