Kandy Rugby Academy turns 1

The Kandy Rugby Academy organised a rugby carnival of two days which attracted a large crowd at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy. 

The Academy which was launched in September 2014 with the intention of developing junior Rugby in Central Province saw both days attracting more than 30 schools, over 300 kids in to the oval shaped ball game.

Vidyartha Rugby Academy won the Cup finals of the Under 14, runner-up in the under 6 and Under 18 segment while the hosts Kandy Rugby Academy won the Under 16 and became runner-up at the Under 14 level.
