Kandy SC to meet Police at Nittawela

Kandy SC will host Police SC at the Nittawela rugby stadium at 4 p.m. on October 18 in a practice game. This year the Kandy Sports Club will be fielding three foreign players, two from South Africa, Christopher Cloete and Quinton Crocker, and one from Fiji Eroni Galdolo, all of whom will be in action in the practice game at the Trinity College rugby stadium. Kandy will be led by former Trinitian and Sri Lanka 15s skipper Sean Wijesinghe. Kandy SC will have some start-studded players in their ranks this year, with national Sevens captain Fazil Marija, Saliya Kumara, Kishore Jehan, Roshan Weeraratne, Damian Ratwatte, Pradeep Liyanage, Gayan Weeraratne, Oshan Perera, Darshan Ettipola, Gayan Ratnayake, Anuruda Wilwara, Dhanushka Dayan and Lavanga Perera stepping out for them. Kandy will lock horns with Air Force on November 1 at Ratmalana followed by Army (away) and play their first home match against Havies at Nittawela on November 15.
