Kandy SC to participate at Asia Rugby Western Clubs Champions 2016

Unbeaten League and Clifford Cup champions, Kandy Sports Club will once again participate at the Asia Rugby Western Clubs Championship 2016 league rugby tournament which will kick off on 2 September in UAE. 

Kandy will be led by former Kingswoodian, Roshan Weeraratne, will be the second time that the Up Country Club will tour UAE to participate in this event. Dubai Exiles, Abu Dhabi Harlequins and Kandy SC will lock horns in the round robin encounters. In the event any of the touring Kandy SC players selected for Asian Sevens series 2016 in Hong Kong (2 and 3 September) they will fly directly from Hong Kong to UAE as the Kandy SC matches will be played on 6 and 9 September which will give them ample time to settle and represent their club.
