Kandy Sports Club AGM on 25 June

The only A division rugby football club from outstation and present League and Clifford Cup champions, Kandy Sports Club will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 25 June at 10 a.m. at their Club House at Nittawela.

Former Trinity rugby player, Nihal Ratwatte is expected to continue his good work for yet another term as the President of the club. Former Royal scrum half and life wire of Kandy Sports Club, Malik Samarawickrema, Udaya Balasuirya are tipped to be the trustees with one more VIP to come in to the team as trustee.

The club will also start its rugby academy under former national rugby players, Fazil Marija, Sean Wijesinghe and Saiya Kumara next month.

Cargills are the main sponsors of the Club with Singer and Etisalat propping in as co sponsors.
