Kavindika and Gunatilake shine at Age Group Badminton Championships

Gunatilake was outstanding at the Age Group Badminton Championship, organised by the Sri Lanka Badminton Association and worked off at the Jayatilaka Sports Complex in Nawalapitiya. Over 500 paddlers from schools around the country participated at the event. Gunatilake also won the boys’ Under 19 singles and doubles, partnering Ranaweera. In the girls’ segment Kavindika de Silva clinched a double when she won the Under 19 singles and doubles as well. Results: Under 11 boys’ singles: M. Wijesundera beat S.
