Both Kingswood College and Trinity College beat St Sylvester’s College and Vidyartha College respectively in their Milo Under-18 school rugby encounter played at the Bogambara Stadium yesterday.
Kingswood College beat St Sylvester’s College by 26 points (3 goals, 1 try) to nil in their first game.

In the second outing unbeaten Trinity continued their winning streak when they outclassed Vidyartha by 40 Points (5 Goals, 1 Try) to 5 Points (1 Try)

The next round of Under 18 league matches will take place at the same venue on 21 August. Kingswood College will meet Katugastota Antonians in the first game. Later on the day unbeaten Trinity outfit will lock horns with the Rajans.
Meanwhile the school All-Island Under 16 rugby tournament will take place on 23 August (Nittawela and Bogambara) and 24 (Bogambara) There will be 32 teams participating in eight groups at this event.
