Land Rover powers St. Anthony’s College Kandy Rugby

Land Rover is proudly supporting St. Anthony’s College Kandy in the Singer Schools Rugby League 2014. St. Anthony’s, founded in 1854, although primarily a cricketing school, started playing rugby in 1956 and has risen steadily in the ranks. In 1972, it beat Trinity College for the first time and rose in stature through the years. In 2001 and 2005 they were all island champions and since have been Singer Sri Lankan rugby 7s champions three times. This year St. Anthony’s College is led by Damien Wijesuriya (Captain). This young team is focused and hungry for victory under the guidance of their coach Theo Serafim. “Land Rover is committed to provide support to help stimulate sustainable growth and success of top flight Rugby.
