Lankem powers Thomian Cricket

Lankem Ceylon PLC and Lankem Robbialac have once again come together this year to add colour to the S. Thomas’ first eleven cricket by becoming the team’s clothing sponsor for the third consecutive year. A simple presentation was held at the college boardroom recently to make this official.

“S. Thomas’ and cricket have a long and illustrious history, and, a great heritage that go back decades. Over the years, the college has produced cricketers of national repute. We at Lankem are delighted to be the team’s clothing sponsor this year too,” said Director – Lankem Ceylon Ruwan T. Weerasinghe.

Warden of S. Thomas College Prof. Indra De Soysa said, “We thank Lankem for coming on board as the clothing sponsor of our first eleven cricket team. Now in its third year, this has been a very fruitful partnership, and I’m confident of, and look forward to, greater years ahead.”
