LB Finance celebrates annual staff get-together with Sports Day and New Year Festival 2013

Finance LB Finance PLC celebrated its annual staff get-together with the Annual Sports Day and New Year festival on 7 April 2013 at St. Peter’s Grounds, Bambalapitiya. It was an enormous event in the year to boost the talents of All Island LB staff.

This event was organised to combine all the staff members from the North, South, East and West under one flag of unity in order to bring the collaboration, harmony and success among its members.

This event gave the opportunity to a variety of athletes and the creative youth among LB staff to demonstrate their talents and enjoy with their colleagues. The first part of the occasion was started with a conventional marathon race and continued with a variety of athletic events and fun games along with a cricket tournament among five regions, namely Western Nights, Blue Blasters, Unicorn, Red Eagles and Red Lions.

Subsequently the event continued with festive activities and traditional Avurudu Kreeda. The occasion concluded with a musical night with the presence of famous artistes.

This staff event was graced by Sumith Adhihetty, Managing Director of LB Finance PLC, Niroshan Udage and March Perera, Executive Directors of LB Finance PLC, together with the all senior management staff of LB Finance PLC.
