LB Finance claims Cricket Championship and Netball Runners Up at FHA Annual Sports Festival

The annual sports festival of the Licensed Finance Companies in Sri Lanka organised by Financial House Association was held recently, at the Bloomfield Grounds, Colombo 07, giving opportunity for the staffs of all licensed finance companies to interact and to promote a healthy relationship.
In this competitive sports festival, the LB Finance teams performed exceptionally well and claimed the Champions of the FHA Cricket and Runners Up in the Netball tournament.
There were twenty two teams participating at the cricket tournament, out of which LB team became the champions defeating Prime Grameen Micro Finance Limited team in the finals. The titles of the tournament achieved by LB team were Man of the Match by Lakshan Rodrigo, Man of the Series by Dumidu Dias and Best Bowler by Romesh Bandara.
Another record of LB team’s intrinsic sports competency revealed at the festival was becoming Runners Up at the Netball tournament, while Teshani Amandika of LB team claimed the Best Shooter record and Manjula Maduwanthi as the Best Centre.
