LB Finance wins Inter Company Netball Championship 2014

Together with the participation of leading companies in Sri Lanka the Inter Company Netball Championship 2014 took place recently and the victorious LB Finance netball team was also able to achieve several great achievements. The annual battle for the inter company netball supremacy was conducted with the guidance of Sportsline Marketing Ltd., the tournament was held on 26 April at St. Joseph’s College Indoor Stadium. The championship was conducted under two categories and the LB Finance female netball team was the champions of Female (Division II) category and the other netball team which fell under the mixed category was selected for the semi finals. Under the captaincy of Teshani Gunathilake, LB Finance’s female netball team was comprised of Manjula, Maduni, Sewni, Madhuri, Jenita, Chamila, Indunil, Sonali, Suh Hua, while the mixed team comprised of Teshani, Manjula, Maduni, Sewani, Madhuri, Jenita, Mugunthan, Stephan, Mathew and Lakshanthan.
