Lyceum Nugegoda victorious again

Lyceum International School’s swimmers performed well at the sixth Sri Lanka Schools Age Group Aquatic Sports Novices Championship 2013 held at Sugathadasa Stadium swimming pool from 15 to 17 February 2013, with the girls emerging overall champions and the boys as second runners-up.

Savin Kaluarachchi of Lyceum Nugegoda was declared the Under 9 Boys champion swimmer and Janith Wickramanayake, also of Lyceum Nugegoda, was the Under 11 Boys champion. 121 schools participated in the event. The swimmers were coached by Nishantha Perera, the head coach of Lyceum Nugegoda and teacher in charge was J.A.S. Somachandra.
