Lyceum Nugegoda wins all Island Schools Under 17 Girls Basketball Championships 2015

Lyceum International School Nugegoda Under 17 team emerged champions at the recently concluded tournament. The finals were played with St. Paul’s Milagiriya Girls Team. Lyceum International School, Nugegoda won the match with final score of 51-32.

They met Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya at the semi finals and got through with a final score of 51-18. 

Yischelle Foenander was awarded the most valuable player and Aaliya Hafeez was the best offensive player of the tournament.

The team was coached by Niluk Dananjaya and teachers in charge being Vanessa Labrooy and Menaka Silva.
