MCA 2012 season opener

The MCA 2012 season opener, the “Elephant –Lemonade, D division 50-overs League Tournament” got off to a rain-interrupted start, last week-end.

Both games billed for the week-end were spoilt by rain, but bore results on the “Parabola” system.

On Saturday, Textured Jersey, the new-comers in this division went down fighting to Mobitel by 13 runs.

On Sunday, another new-comer, John Keells B was outplayed by Sri Lanka Telecom A by 04-wickets.

SL Telecom A after restricting J Keells B to 118 in 43.3 overs, levelled the score at 118 for 6 in 28.5 when the rains came down and the match had to be decided on the “Parabola” system.

Sri Lanka Telecom A beat John Keells B by 04 wickets on the Parabola system.
