The mca cricket academy u-15 team scored two good wins over the visiting usa global cricket academy u-15 team at the mca grounds on 26 and 27 december.

In the first match mca beat usa global by five wickets.

Usa global - 66 all out in 26.3 Overs (vastal vaghela 12, ruthvik chanduri 18, hansaja jayasinghe 3/14, malith bimsara 2/6)

Mca – 69 for 5 in 13.1 Overs (maneendra jayatillake 22 not out, thithira weerasinghe 18, akul gupta 2/15)

In the second match, which was played in coloured clothing and with a white ball, mca beat the visitors on the d&l method. 

Mca – 234 all out in 43.4 Overs (pasan suwahas 69, hansaja jayasinghe 65, shenal boteju 12,  bawantha jayasinghe 18,  ruthvik chunduri 2/31, pratham kataria 2/40, akul gupta 2/15)

Usa – 85 for 5 in 21.2 Overs when rain halted play. (Ruthvik chunduri 12, sohan bhat 15, shashanka vittaladevaram 22 not out, ushan boruppa 3/7)

Usa global cricket academy events, planning and execution manager kaushal vyas made a donation of cricket equipment to the principal of gonapola central college awissawella, suranjith siyambalapitiya, at the post-match presentation.
