Melbourne Textile Washing Plant grabs Ceylon Chamber bowling title

Melbourne Textile Washing Plant Ltd. won the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural Bowling Tournament.
This year’s competition also coincided with the CCC’s 175th anniversary, making it yet another initiative which created a sense of unity and cooperation amongst the member companies of the Ceylon Chamber and its 21 bilateral business councils.
Melbourne Textile gained a staggering 811 points to win the title, while Careem Lanka Travels followed as runners up with 766 points.
With nearly 40 companies taking part in the competition, Screenline Holdings team A and B, GSK, Brandix, Aitken Spence Travels, Expo Lanka Freight, Commercial Bank and Delmege competed in the final round of play as the top 10 highest scoring teams.
The tournament was worked off at the Excel World bowling arcade at Colombo 10.
