Methodist College shines

The Under 17 Tennis team of Methodist College, Colombo performed extremely well to emerge as 2nd runner up at the recently concluded All Island Inter School Tennis Tournament, held at Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts.

In their road to victory the team defeated Mowbray College, Kandy, Karandeniya Central and finally St. Bridget’s Convent, Colombo 7. This is one of the highest achievements of Methodist College in the sphere of Tennis in recent years. All credit for this excellent performance goes to the hard working girls, their coach Bahi Tharmaratnam and the teachers in charge, along with the support received from the principal.
